Presentations

me-talking-to-kids.pngI’ve been giving presentations to schools and environmental groups since Last Summer (August, I think.) I’ve given about 16 presentations, to groups all over California.

There are a couple different versions of the presentation… One is for people who already know about global warming, and are doing something in that area. For example, a high school environmental group called the Green Ambassadors does things about global warming all the time. If I were to give them a presentation, it would be the skeptic version. That presentation is all about how to answer a global warming skeptic (someone who doesn’t believe in global warming) because a lot of times, it’s hard to answer someone who’s insisting that global warming isn’t real. There’s another presentation, which I give to people who have heard of global warming (because everyone’s HEARD of global warming,) but really don’t know exactly what it is. This is the presentation that I give to schools grades 5-12. And I’m working with teachers (grades k-4) to develop another version of the presentation for younger kids. This presentation will be less about the disastrous outcomes of global warming and more about what we can do, because we don’t want to scare the little kids.I’m also going to be training other youth to give the presentations, so we can get the message out as fast as we can.

You can contact me (alecloorz@kids-vs-global-warming.com) if you want to be trained or if you want me to give a presentation at your school. Also, I can send anyone a flyer with more information.sponsors1.jpg
