Green Schools Fellow Program
Green Schools Fellow Program
Bobby Kennedy and Alec Loorz, keynote speakers
One more trip this semester. I head out to DC again to not only be one of the speakers (Bobby Kennedy is the main speaker!) but also to be one of the Green Schools Fellows.
The U.S. Green Schools Fellows Program is the product of a new partnership between the Green Schools Alliance (GSA) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Agency’s National Conservation Training Center (NCTC).
The GSA and NCTC are selecting 100 of the country's most outstanding student leaders 10 exceptional school faculty and staff to participate in a new National Student Climate and Conservation Congress (SC3) at the NCTC Campus, the nation’s premier training facility for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Agency.
I’m looking forward not only to the opportunity to hang out with awesome people (they had high school students planning the whole thing...and they are amazing organizers!) but also I’m excited to meet all the other youth who will be coming out for the conference. The movement is happening!
