We are a group of kids that educate other kids about the science of global warming, train them on what they can do, and empower them with specific ways of taking action.

 Right now we have three projects focused on informing kids and getting them to take action:

  • SLAP is a local community activists project focused on raising awareness of sea level rise in Ventura. We’re planning on putting up over 120 signs around Ventura showing the future sea level rise if we do nothing about Global Warming.
  • We give school presentations to K-12 schools (as well as colleges and environmental groups) about the science of Global Warming, what they can do, and how they can do it.
  • You can also visit our interactive kid booths at upcoming Earth Day Events.

 

 

  iMatter… And so do you. WE are the kids that have to change their (and our) nasty habits.I have heard from a lot of places that “The world will be over in 150 years.” Well… it will… if we don’t stop it.Today’s society has the power and technology to do it, they just don’t get it that the future of the world depends on it.So, the idea is to prepare the next generation: the youth of America -kids like me- who care. We are going to prepare them now, so when they get older, they’ll already have the knowledge to know what needs to be done.Lets work to help the world, and not just occupy it. If we can get enough people to do a few simple little things, we will be able to make a difference.Anyone else who has ideas, lets collect thoughts here and start a movement.We can do it.We can stop global warming.
